READING Everyone starts reading when they are little, and some people stop loving, hearing or reading a book but some people like me never stop.I have loved reading ever since I was just a little girl. I think that reading is a great way to learn different things without having to actually do them. I don't think that I would be able to do many of the things that I have read about do you?
Also reading can take you on adventures, or the book that you are reading can be so discriptive that you are waiting to see a knew character in a book without pictures. I know that a couple of days ago I was reading a book and a new character got introduced to the book and I was waiting to hear her voice. Isn't that weird.
One of my favourite authors is James.A.Owen . He wrote one of my favourite series the series of The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica. Another that I really like is Eric Walters. Eric walters[as we all know] also has a website to help people in africa, called Creation of Hope. My favourite book by him is Shattered. Just yesterday I finished 3 books in one day because I was hooked to the series so much. Another book that I liked by Eric Walters is Alexandria of Africa.
Reading is a great thing because it is a lot cheaper then going to the movies, when you could just make a T.V. in your head.There are alot of authors that I really like but I think that my favourite author is Chris D'Lacey. She is the author of a series that I am reading called the house of knight series.
The reason that I love reading is, that reading can make you sad, mad, happy or otherwise but why do you feel that way? Well I think that it is because you are so into the novel that you are reading that you start to feel the emotions of a character. I definetly know this feeling. A book might make you so sad that you even start to cry. That usually happens only when you are extremely passionate about reading like my mom or me.I am not kidding my mom sometimes goes into hysterics when reading.
You can tell how passionate I am about reading by my goal for the end of the year. My goal is to read 100 books by the time that I finish school. I have already read 62 books. Obviously I will have to keep up dating this number. I think that it is a great thing to set a goal for how many books that you read, because that way you one have a goal for the end of the school year. Also that way you can read like crazy and no one can say anything because you are striving for your goal. Finally as you can see I am very passionate about reading and I hope that after reading this wiki that you will love reading just as much as me.
